Vondeling wines is celebrating a trio of recently awarded gold medals.
The first announcement came from the Michelangelo Wine Awards where the inaugural vintage of Vondeling Cabernet (2011) was awarded a gold medal. The 2013 Sauvignon Blanc was awarded a silver medal.
The second round of good news came from the prestigious 6 Nations Wine Challenge held in Australia, where the Vondeling 2012 Baldrick Shiraz was also awarded a gold medal.
The Six Nations Wine Challenge takes place between wines from South Africa, Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina and America and is the only wine show in the world where the wines come in exclusively by invitation from the judges.
And lastly, at the Veritas Awards, South Africa’s oldest wine competition, the 2013 Vondeling Sauvignon Blanc was awarded a Gold Medal.
