Greetings from a chilly and wet Voor Paardeberg. For those of you who don’t know, we have gone into lockdown level 4 once more and no alcohol sales are allowed again. So we are solely relying on exports currently. We have just released our latest Rurale 2018 which is 80% Chardonnay and 20% Pinotage which is absolutely delicious.
We have also bottled some 2021 Rose Magnum bottles which are already on the water heading for the British summer and long alfresco lunches!
In the vineyards, we have started pruning and depending on the weather should be finished by the end of August.
Our new Financial Manager, Fred Hagan, started with us at the beginning of April. When he is not projecting cash flows and overseeing all things accounting, he is flying his Peregrine Falcon, Zara, which is very beautiful and very vicious and is also an incredible hunter.
