Greetings Vondelingers.
I write to you from a sunny Johannesburg where I am exhibiting Vondeling wines at Winex in Sandton for 3 days, along with our fabulous team here. Sandi and Janine have been busy promoting the wines at weekends as well as at various charity functions and open days.
Matthew, our Senior winemaker, has been in England seeing various buyers and introducing them to new vintages. Here he is with Jim Davy and the team at Davys Wine Bars HQ in Greenwich

I am pleased to announce that the Bowwood 2020 pinotage received double gold at the prestigious Veritas wine awards, as it did last year.
Also, our wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable viticultural consultant, Johan Wiese, received a Lifetime achievement award at the same event. Seen here with other recipients
Early summer has really kicked in and we had to remove some rather busy bees from high up in a palm tree and relocate them. Jolly tricky business.
Also, the farm is really beginning to shine.
