We launched our 2018 Rurale Method Ancestrale last week at the beautiful Camps Bay Retreat.
It was a wonderful event attended by members of the press, restauranteurs, and various players in the wine industry.
Our Cellarmaster, Matthew Copeland was interviewed just before the event by the irrepressible Dan Nicholl for his TV show
Meanwhile back at Vondeling, the wonderful cool spring has continued and everything is looking exceptionally beautiful.
All our guys that have to drive a forklift on the farm and in the wineries have to resit their training every 2 years. Everybody passed with flying colours. Seen here is our Logistics Manager Andrew Imrie (seated nearest) and to his right cellar rats Teshwill, Tyron, and Johnny. Then my right-hand man for the past 22 years Danny Moolman and winemakers Emile and Matthew.
At our new farm at Vrymansfontein we have completed the renovations of the staff housing, which were in a sorry state of disrepair. They have now all had roof repairs done, bathrooms and electricity installed, and running hot and cold water as well as a fresh lick of paint. Currently, we have 47 children living on the farm and 56 adults.
We are so excited to update you on a recent project on the new farm Vrymansfontein.
We have named it The Stage at Vrymansfontein.
Our first event kicks off this Saturday.
